We had an exciting concert on Saturday and so many to THANK! We PRAISE ke Akua! We ADMIRE Kumu and Haumāna for their dedication and aloha in their hula journey together. We have much GRATITUDE for Weldon, Yuko, Keola, and JD for their beautiful music and graceful hula. We APPRECIATE all the vendors, ‘ohana, friends, volunteers, community…many from near and far, who came to support this beautiful culture.

In a word, MAHALO.

HAPPY AL🌺HA FRIDAY! Weldon Kekauoha is HERE and we had a lovely dinner with him and his wife, Yuko, last night. We are so excited and have almost sold out for the concert tomorrow! What a beautiful day for a lū’au at Esplanade! Mahalo nui loa to Mina Lacuesta for having us. We enjoyed sharing our aloha today in your scenic, resort-style community! 💕

Last night our Hālau had the privilege of hosting a wonderful Hula Workshop with Lehua Kawaikapuokalani. What a fantastic time we all had together! Mahalo ke Akua. Mahalo to Lehua for sharing a beautiful hula, mana’o, and words of encouragement. Mahalo to all of the Kumu and hula sisters and brothers for taking the time to be there with us. It was nice to see all the aloha, talent, and smiles under one roof! Mahalo nui to our own Haumāna for all the ‘ono food provided and making sure the evening was extra special.

Lehua shared, in part, “Hula is ageless. Hula is life.” So, to our precious hula community near and far, keep dancing - FOREVER! For those of you that have never tried, what are you waiting for? We will be here when you’re ready, poised to share our love of hula…our love of this beautiful Hawaiian culture.
