Last night we hosted an activity table annual Family Math and Science Night. The event was fantastic! The hands-on activities were engaging, interactive and thoughtfully designed. I would 100% recommend this family event! 🤩🧪 🎲

Our little reader is on such a special journey 📚✨
We’re starting at the very beginning by building a strong foundation by learning letter sounds (phonemic awareness) and connecting them to their symbols. From there, we begin blending those sounds together to decode simple words using the letters we know.
This stage is all about developing early literacy skills, strengthening sound, symbol recognition, encouraging cognitive connections, and building confidence through repetition and play. Each sounded-out word is a big win and an important step toward fluent reading. ❤️
Watching these skills emerge is pure magic, one sound, one word, one proud moment at a time. 😊
