Our 2025–26 wrestling season wrapped up with our end-of-year awards banquet, closing the chapter on a season we won’t forget. It was a year filled with team trophies, gold medals, heartbreaking defeats, thrilling wins, and plenty of team dinners & trips that brought this group even closer together.

I couldn’t be prouder of this team for the way they battled through adversity, pushed their minds and bodies to the limit, and showed up ready to work every single day. The grind, the commitment, and the toughness they showed all season long is what makes this group special.

Excited to see what’s ahead for the Class of 2026, and ready to get back to work with everyone else as we chase even bigger goals next season.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. 🐾

Teddy went toe-to-toe with the best in California at the CIF State Wrestling Championships. We didn’t leave with a medal, but we walked away with big wins and a Top 24 finish in the entire state.

Just making it to the state tournament isn’t easy. It takes battling through League, grinding through Divisionals, and earning your way out of Masters just to get a shot at that state bracket. Some incredible wrestlers never even get the chance to step on that floor in Bakersfield. And even fewer leave with a medal. In California, there’s no D1, D2, D3. It’s one division — the entire state, all sizes, all powerhouses, all fighting for the same medals. That’s how hard it is to climb onto that podium.

No medal this year — but progress isn’t always shiny. Every season we close the gap. Every year we get better. The tools are there. The standard is set. Now it’s about how bad do we want it. We’ll be back. The work continues. Until next year.

16 Wildcats stepped into the arena at the SJS Masters tournament ready to test themselves against the best in the section. In the end, we’re walking out with 3 medalists, 1 CIF State qualifier, and a boys team finish of 11th out of 144 schools — the highest finish in program history.

Our goal was top 10. We fell short. No excuses. But like in life, sometimes things don’t always go your way.

This tournament is unforgiving. It gives you moments of triumph and moments that break your heart. That’s the beauty of wrestling — you put it all on the line, and the scoreboard tells the truth.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group. The grit, the sacrifice, the standards they’ve set this year — that’s what matters most. We didn’t hit every goal, but we raised the bar. Whitney wrestling is just getting started. 💪🏽😤

Big time weekend for the Cats!! 🤼

At the D1 Divisional Tournament at Lincoln High School, we made history — 11 Wildcats qualified for the SJS Masters Tournament, breaking the previous school record of 7.

We’ll head into Masters with the 7th most qualifiers in the entire section, right behind programs like Del Oro, Folsom, Vacaville, Oakdale, Pitman, and Central Catholic High School.

That puts us in position to chase something this program has never done before — a top 10 finish at Masters.

Records keep falling. Standards keep rising.

Top 5 this weekend punches a ticket to the CIF State Tournament in Bakersfield — and a few Cats are ready to take their shot at the big dance.

Keep working. Keep believing. Let’s go make more history. 🐾

Our girls SMASHED through Regionals in dominant fashion!

For the first time in school history, your Wildcats are sending FIVE girls to Masters! It was a statement weekend. Proud of the way our girls competed, battled, and stayed relentless from start to finish.

Next up: We travel to Stockton for the SJS Masters Championships this Friday & Saturday. Top 5 in each bracket moves on to the CIF State Championships in Bakersfield.

13 of our varsity boys hit the mat today at the D1 SJS Divisional Championships hosted at Lincoln High School. The top 8 punch their ticket to the SJS Masters next weekend — and that’s the goal.

The work’s been put in. Now it’s time to compete, scrap, and make some noise.

The 2025–26 regular season came to a close on Friday at the SFL Championships, proudly hosted by your Wildcats. A total of 17 JV wrestlers took the mat for one final opportunity to earn a medal, while 20 varsity wrestlers battled not only for hardware, but for a spot in the next round of the postseason.

In all, 28 Wildcats finished in the top six. We’re sending 13 varsity boys and 6 varsity girls on to Divisionals/Regionals next week—an incredible way to cap off the regular season.

Now, our focus shifts to the postseason as we continue the journey toward the CIF State Tournament in Bakersfield. The work isn’t done, the grind doesn’t stop. Let’s go Cats! 🐾

The varsity Wildcats begin their run into the postseason on Friday as we host the SFL tournament. The top 6 in each bracket will qualify for Divisionals/Regionals and nothing is given, everything is earned. Make or break. We’re ready!💥

As for JV, It will be their final battle as they hope to close out the season with one final medal. You can catch us in action on Friday in the big & small gyms. First match starts at 11.
