My EMT Class Experience at Emetseei Training School

My experience at Emetseei Training School has been one of the most rewarding and meaningful experiences of my life. From the first day of class, I felt welcomed and supported by the instructors Dani, Rick and Mike. This program challenged me both academically and physically, but it also helped me grow in confidence and develop skills that will benefit me throughout my career. Every lesson and practical exercise brought me closer to achieving my goal of becoming an EMT.
One of the best parts of my experience was the quality of the instructors. They were knowledgeable, professional, and always willing to help students succeed. Their real-world experience and dedication to teaching made the learning process engaging and effective. They took the time to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure that every student and I understood the material before moving forward.
The hands-on skills training and coaching were outstanding. Through practice scenarios and patient assessments, I was able to develop the confidence needed to perform EMT skills correctly and safely. The instructors continually encouraged us to improve and provided constructive feedback that helped us become better providers even though at times I was ready to give up and stop going to class they were there for me and help in a way that I am more confidence than ever to finish this class. Their coaching gave me the motivation to push through challenges and stay focused on my goals.
Completing the EMT program at Emetseei School makes me feel proud and accomplished. There were times when the coursework and skills testing were difficult, but with determination and the support of my instructors, I was able to succeed. I am grateful for the opportunity to attend Emetseei and receive such high-quality training. This experience has prepared me for the next step in my EMS career, and I will always appreciate the knowledge, skills, and confidence I gained through this program and of course the instructors Dani, Rick & Mike. Graduation has arrived for our recent EMT program, here is what one of our students had to say about his experience: Over the last sixteen weeks my schooling with Emetseei institute has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences throughout my life so far. The school has gone above and beyond in teaching all the necessary skills to accomplish basic life support skills in emergency medical services. Coming into this school with some relative medical knowledge it was still extremely challenging and at times seemed impossible, but with the constant help and support from the instructors and owners of the school things got easier. Throughout my experience here I was quite fearful if going into emergency medical services was going to be the career for me because seeing blood and trauma wasn't really my thing. I never handled it very well. The school set up an elaborate system of clinicals to test us in every aspect of our field along with getting a walk through pretty much all fields of life in emergency medicine. Which made my decision a lot easier. Our first clinical we had to do was a 4 hour observation at the Brevard medical examiner’s office which right then and there I found out that I was going to be okay when it came to seeing death. it was a little over whelming at first to see so many deceased people, that had died in pretty gruesome ways but with the support from classmates we all pushed through and got an excellent learning opportunity out of it. Throughout the weeks i made friends with my classmates which benefited us all because Studying is a major component of success for this course and i honestly do not think I would have made it if it wasn't for the constant support this school offers. The extensive line up of course material provided throughout the course was incredible. I honestly feel I learned more in these 16 weeks then the 12 years of schooling I went through prior. The instructors throughout the school are extremely educated in their fields and made learning here not only fun but understanding, with such difficult course content the instructors were there anytime I had a question or needed an example regarding a skill they made it easier. Moving on throughout my clinical process through the program I got to meet some fire fighters all through Brevard County along with getting some pretty amazing experience along the way. My very first Clinical ride with cocoa beach i was thrown immediately into a call where an older gentlemen had fallen into cardiac arrest, i was put into a high stress situation and in the end the man ended up living right there in that moment i knew this is what i wanted to do the feeling of accomplishment that i had assistance in keeping someone alive was just such a surreal feeling. This program has a requirement for a lot of clinical hours which was another great thing about the school. The amount of experience I got throughout my 16 weeks was unreal. Working 12 hours in the med fast to jump to the pediatric emergency room at advent health I got to see it all. Throughout my 12 ambulance rides I got to see both sides of bls units and als units. Overall, this program was amazing, I made so many friends along the way, learned a set of skills that'll stick with me for the rest of my life, and learned a sense of a responsibility for myself. I look forward to expanding my career in the emergency medical field and plan on attending fire school after graduation from the program. I also plan on attending back at this program for my paramedic training. Cole
