We had so much fun at our Bobcat PRIDE Kickoff Pep Rally today! Our students learned about our school wide expectation Patience and what it means to be patient. We celebrated students in each class that have been demonstrating patience and our students and staff participated in community building activities. It was a great day! Way to go, Bobcats 💚🐾💛

We are excited to Kickoff our Bobcat PRIDE tomorrow with our first spirit day of the school year! We will celebrate school pride together as a school family and focus on the importance of our school wide expectations with our students. We encourage students to wear their favorite football team shirt or any Golfview school shirt to show their school spirit. Let’s go Bobcats!!!

This November, two local funding measures are on the ballot. Neither are new. Both are already in place.

Earlier this week we shared about Sales Surtax.

The second measure on November's ballot is the Millage — a property tax renewal that funds the teachers, programs, and technology that make learning happen every day in Brevard County
classrooms.

Millage is the small portion of property taxes that stays right here in Brevard County, locally approved by voters to directly support Brevard Public Schools. Every dollar collected goes to the people and programs inside our schools.

Millage funds three things: employee pay, essential programs, and classroom technology.

The Surtax is the small portion of sales tax that stays right here in Brevard to keep school buildings safe, in good repair, and up to date. It funds three things: secure buildings, facility investments, and technology infrastructure.

Over the next several weeks, we'll share more about what the Surtax funds.
