Rockland Regional Adult Learning Center RRALC is one of the south shore's continuously operated adult learning centers. Located in Rockland, MA. Classes are held 2 days per week.

Our program is FREE to the public. RRALC EXPECTATIONS

Adult students and teachers will hold high standards and expectations for lifelong learning;

Adult students, teachers, administrators, and staff will understand and use a variety of strategies to enhance learning in the classroom;

Students and teachers will use assessment as a process and a tool to guide instruction, provide evidence of stud

ent progress, and aid students to become self directed;

Curriculum, instruction, and assessment will be based on inquiry which involves investigation, critical thinking, problem solving, reflection and the application of this process to the students' life situations;

Curriculum, instruction, and assessment will point to connections within and across disciplines - they link education to family, community, and work ;

Classroom approaches will draw from and are applied to students' life experiences;

Collaboration, cooperation, and partnershios among and between students, their families, learning providers, the workplace and the community will be made essential components of adult education;

The adult learning community will support diversity by recognizing that all students in a single learning environment do not have the same backgrounds, needs, and goals.

🎓 Adult Diploma Night Program • ESOL Classes 🎓

Tuesday, September 8th & Thursday, September 10th

This fall, take the first step toward your goals! Whether you’re working toward your high school diploma or improving your English through our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes, we’re here to help.

đź“Ś Important Registration Information:
âś… Returning students must attend one night of registration to enroll for the semester.
âś… New students enrolling in the Adult Diploma Program must provide an official high school transcript. Students under the age of 18 must also submit a withdrawal letter from their previous school. All new students should plan to complete placement testing during the registration process.
âś… ESOL classes are currently full. New ESOL applicants are welcome to register and will be placed on the waitlist.

✨ First night of classes: Tuesday, September 15th!
Our Adult Diploma Program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–8:30 PM. Students take two classes each semester and work toward completing the course requirements to earn a high school diploma. Credits from previous schools cannot be transferred into the program.

All programs are free and designed to support adult learners in our community. Don’t miss this opportunity— share with a friend who may be ready to start their journey too!
