Help Shape the Future of Recreation and Community Space in Rockland

The Rockland Parks & Recreation Advisory Board is exploring possibilities for future community recreation, wellness, arts, and gathering spaces.

We want to hear from everyone—children, teens, adults, seniors, families, and community organizations. Whether you would use a community center often, occasionally, or not at all, your input is important.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to consider the interests and needs of children in their household when completing this survey.

Your feedback will help identify:

• What activities and spaces residents need most
• Which features should be prioritized
• How often people would realistically use a facility
• Whether residents support investing in a community center

The survey takes approximately 5–8 minutes to complete.

All responses are anonymous.

A huge thank you to Maine Sport Outfitters and Midcoast Sports Exchange for generously donating bikes, helmets, and supplies for South School’s Bike to School and Bike Rodeo event!
Because of your support, our students were able to safely ride through the bike rodeo course, build confidence on their bikes, and enjoy a fun and active day outdoors. Your partnership helped make this event such a success while promoting healthy habits, bike safety, and physical activity in our community.
We are so grateful for your commitment to supporting local youth and creating opportunities for kids to learn, move, and have fun safely. Thank you for helping make this day so memorable for our students!

SRO Bagley spent the morning at the South School "future fair" showing students around the patrol car, discussing law enforcement, and giving them a hands-on look at some of our equipment.

Greetings, we invite you to join our fundraiser and contribute to our school’s enrichment programs. All funds raised support school initiatives beyond the allocated budget. Including school-wide events with prizes and food, teacher requests so they don’t have to pay out of pocket, teacher appreciation and conference day support.
