What a great Convocation as we welcomed staff back for another school year! 🎉 We celebrated our incredible Of the Year winners and heard from our very own Arthur Gilliam, whose powerful message was a reminder of the difference educators have the opportunity to make every day.

A special thank you to the Richmond County Education Foundation, Griffin Nissan, and Griffin Toyota for their generous donations and continued support of our educators. 💚

Congratulations to these incredible educators and staff members who lead, serve and care for our students and schools in so many different ways. We are grateful for all they bring to Richmond County Schools and proud to have them represent our district this year!

🚨Due to the potential for inclement weather on Friday, Richmond Senior High School's Richmond Raider Football home game against Hoggard has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m.

➡️ The JV game has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

Rising kindergarteners, this one's for you: Countdown to Kindergarten is the ultimate first-day-of-school dress rehearsal and it’s almost here!

Children will practice lunchroom skills, build kindergarten readiness skills in a fun and supportive space and then shake off the nerves at our Back to School Big Fun Dance Party 🕺

🛡️ Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Richmond Senior High School will implement clear bag procedures for all athletic events. The procedures will be in effect for the first home football game on Aug. 21.

The new guidelines are intended to provide a safe environment for students, families, staff and visitors attending Raider athletic events.
