SENIOR PAINT YOUR PARK — TOUCH-UP OPPORTUNITY!

Didn’t get a chance to finish painting your parking space today? We’ve got you covered, Raiders! 💚💛

🚨 The gates will be open tomorrow and Sunday from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM for students to finish painting their approved parking space designs.

Please remember these important guidelines:
📏 Tape off 3 inches around your parking space to ensure you do not paint over the white lines.
🔢 Do NOT paint over your assigned parking space number.
🎨 You must stick to the original design that was approved. No changes to your design will be permitted.
🧹 Clean up after yourself! Students are responsible for leaving their area clean and free of any paint or supplies when finished.

The Richmond County Health Department is offering Walk-In Immunization Clinics for students entering Kindergarten, 7th grade, and 12th grade.

🚨New Bag Policy for Athletic Events 🚨

🛡️ Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Richmond Senior High School will implement clear bag procedures for all athletic events. The procedures will be in effect for the first home football game on Aug. 21.

The new guidelines are intended to provide a safe environment for students, families, staff and visitors attending Raider athletic events.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Kevin Wallace and Rebecca Wright to the Richmond Senior High School Administrative Team! 🎉

While both are already valued members of the Raider family, we’re excited to see them step into these new leadership roles.

Mr. Wallace brings several years of experience as both an assistant principal and principal in Richmond County. Most recently, he has served in our PE department while coaching baseball and women’s golf.

Mrs. Wright has served as an instructional coach and administrative intern at Richmond Senior over the past several years, helping support teachers and students across our campus.

Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and strong community ties to our administrative team. We look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make on our students, staff, and the Raider community.

🎓 Attention, Class of 2027! It's Time for Senior Portraits! 📸

📅 Dates: July 20–22, 2026
📍 Location: Upstairs in the RSHS Gym (behind the bleachers)
⏰ By appointment only
Each session takes about 5 minutes and includes:
✔️ One informal photo in the outfit you arrive wearing (dress to impress!)
✔️ One formal yearbook photo in a tuxedo or drape provided by the photographer
There is no cost for your yearbook photo session. After your session, proofs will be emailed to you so you can select your yearbook pose and purchase additional photos if you'd like.

📚☀️ RSHS SUMMER SCHOOL 2026 ☀️📚

Richmond Senior High School will offer Credit Recovery opportunities for students this summer! Any student who has failed a required course is eligible to attend.

✅ Core classes and select electives available
✅ Face-to-face instruction for core courses
✅ Edgenuity options available for some electives
✅ Breakfast & lunch provided daily
✅ Seniors will receive first priority for available seats

📅 Session 2: July 13-16, 20-23, 27-30
⏰ Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Important Credit Recovery Information:
• Students must have a course average between 40–59 to qualify for Credit Recovery.
• Students below a 40 must repeat the course in a seated class.
• Attendance is critical — only 2 absences allowed per class.
