During the Iowa State Fair last week we had Braxton Dight showing his swine.
8/13: FFA Purebred Market Swine Show-
• Berkshire Market Pigs Class 2: Blue
• Yorkshire Market Pigs Class 1: 2nd in class

8/14: Crossbred Market Hog Show -
• Divison 4 Market Barrow Class 2: 7th place - Blue

On Saturday, Rockford FFA had an amazing day. We started with the Swine Show. Braxton Dight recieved:
•Grand Champion Intermediate Showmanship
•Reserve Champion Breeding Swine
•Reserve Champion Overall Swine

We ended with the Poultry Show. We had Ellie and Grace Schmitt, Emma Pearson, Lilly Litterer, Kasey Trask, Kyla Nagel and Kendall Harris compete in this show. The results are:

This morning we had Grace and Ellie Schmitt, Kyla Nagel, and Elizabeth Tegtmeier compete in the beef show. Grace received Reserve Champion for Senior Cow Calf On Farm! Kyla Nagel received Reserve Champion for Bucket Bottle - Senior!

This afternoon we had Carly Cross compete in the timed horse events!

Still two more days left of the Floyd County Fair!!

Long day for Rockford FFA!

This morning we had Kendall Harris in the Sheep & Meat Goat Show!

This afternoon we had Grace and Ellie Schmitt in the Beef of Merit Show! We also had Ellie Schmitt and Harper Hillman in the Rabbit Show with Harper receiving Grand Champion in Senior Showmanship!

Today we had Carly Cross compete in multiple events during the horse show. Ms. Duncan helped worked swine check-in and the horse show as well. We also had some members volunteering at Little Hands on The Farm. Today was a great day!
