Parkway FFA

Parkway FFA The Parkway FFA is a local chapter of the National FFA Organization.

Agricultural Education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems. Through agricultural education, students are provided opportunities for leadership development, personal growth and career success. Agricultural education instruction is delivered through three major components:

1) classroom/labo

ratory instruction
2) supervised agricultural experience programs
3) student leadership organizations (FFA)

That's a wrap for this year's spring CDE season! Yesterday, our chapter competed in its first-ever floriculture contest. Also, over the past couple of weeks, we have had numerous students competing at the state level in agronomy, milk quality and products, equine, general livestock, poultry, and dairy cattle contests. These students gain fantastic new skills that they will be able to use in future agricultural careers!
