In 2012, Giving Tuesday was created with the simple idea that there should be a day that encourages people to do good. The goal of Giving Tuesday is to “build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe,” and that’s something we can get behind.

It sounds like quite the challenge, but we know that changing the world starts right here, at home. This Giving Tuesday, the Rock Valley College Foundation humbly asks: will you allow the power of your generosity to make a difference in the lives of RVC students by making a gift today?

Gifts can be made securely online, and YOU can choose what you'd like to support. Are you unsure of the many funds the RVC Foundation holds? Gifts to the RVC Fund for Immediate Impact are all-encompassing and support everything from scholarships, grants, classroom enhancements, and more.

Your gift can truly make a difference TODAY by visiting https://41860.thankyou4caring.org/www.rockvalleycollege.edu/Give2?mibextid=Zxz2cZ

Our favorite event of the year! On November 4, RVC Foundation scholarship recipients had the opportunity to meet the generous individuals who made their scholarship possible at RVC Foundation's annual "Where Generosity Meets Gratitude" luncheon. This event connects people who are otherwise names on a page, and in many instances, both the student and the donor leave the event with a newfound friend.

Thank you to the donors who impact the lives of students with every donation, to Trustee Bob Trojan, Kathy Shott, Trace Quinn, and Charo Young for delivering heartfelt, powerful messages, to the scholarship recipients who attended, and to our exclusive event sponsor, Coleman CPA & Consulting, Inc. for making this event possible. We are already looking forward to next year's luncheon!
