The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2013 was awarded jointly to James E. Rothman, Randy W. Schekman and Thomas C. Südhof "for their discoveries of machinery regulating vesicle traffic, a major transport system in our cells".

This month we will be having an American Chemical Society Lecture on Clean energy as part of National Chemistry Week. It should be interesting for both chemists and biologists as the speaker will be discussing artificial photosynthesis!
