📚 Discover the joy of making a difference! Join us for an introductory recruitment luncheon hosted by YWCA Literacy Council and Americorps Seniors. Learn how you can help adults in Boone County master reading, writing, and speaking English. Your event attendance time can be applied toward future tutor training! Open to ages 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Wonderful ESL class yesterday evening at Belvidere High School! What great attendance!

We had a great time at Rock Valley College's Community Resource Fair. We were able to share YWCA's services and promote the need of volunteer tutors. The YWCA Literacy Council has learners who desire to go to college. We hope we can pair them with new college student tutors to keep them inspired.
