We want to thank everyone who participated in our Spring Festival at Wiggles & Giggles. Our staff are still smiling today about how well things went...in all three departments. They have expressed having fun. A reminder that we are CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, as we have our Spring Teachers Workshop and again on Monday for Memorial Day. Have a great week!

Though we pray throughout the week for our families, health,
pets, our food and whatever is on our hearts....last Thursday was a special day that we gathered as a whole center - as a cozy crew in the Infant department to thank God for Who He Is, and bring our cares and concerns from this life to Him.

Colossians 3: 12 - 17 was read before we prayed....
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Our young friends and staff shared prayers, shared a THANK YOU cheer to God, then headed back to their daily activities.

We thank God, not only for Who He Is, but also for sending each and every one of you to us at Wiggles & Giggles. You are treasures created by the very hand of God! In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We have learned that Rockford Schools are CLOSED today. I have had several staff call to report that many of the roads are impossible with thick ice. Please enjoy a safe day at home. Have a great weekend.

“Love” has been our focus this week. At our recent Teachers Workshop our staff received the book “The 5 Love Languages of Children” written by Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell. A great read for every family. “Every child has an emotional tank, a place of emotional strength that can fuel him through the challenging days of childhood and adolescence.” Watch for additional activities prepared by the staff in sharing what they have learned.

I'm observing families being so patient with the conditions of the
parking lot....not being able to drive up...walking their children
in from the street. One Dad pushed one of our staff's car that
was stuck in the drive way, then helped shovel before he went
to work. Moms with smiles, despite the day.

You are AWESOME and we LOVE all of you!

At this time I have not seen that the Rockford Schools will be closed on Tuesday, however, if they are it will be due to COLD only. Not snow. Thus, we WILL be open on Tuesday. FYI - the difference between the decision to close today, Monday, and previous days is due to the blowing and drifting snow overnight causing unsafe roads for all. PTL that we rarely get these types of days!

Due to the current Blizzard Warning and that the Rockford Schools are closed, Wiggles & Giggles will also be CLOSED on Monday, January 27th. For the safety of our staff and all of our families, we hope that you will be able to stay off the roads, staying safe and warm. Thank you.

A reminder that Wiggles & Giggles will be closed on Monday, Jan 20th for Martin Luther King Day and as a Teachers Workshop Day. The staff always appreciate this time together to plan, clean and have fellowship together. Thank you!

It was a delight to arrive at the Center this morning and find that our building owner has made a greater effort to cleaned up the snow and ice in the parking lot. Yeah! Thank you. We are working with them to understand how important this be done on a regular basis each time it snows. Thank you for your patience.

As I get up early on this beautiful snowy morning God immediately brings to my mind a very dear person, our Miss Peggy. Peggy has now walked into her 11th year caring for the many families and staff who have come through our doors. She has done it passionately, quick to offer a prayer and praise to God, always wanting the very best for each child we care for. Thank you, Peggy! You are awesome!

We have received word that many school districts will again be closed on Tuesday. Please note that Wiggles & Giggles will be OPEN unless some other unplanned problem develops. Should you decide to not come in please let the staff know as soon as possible. Stay warm!
