Our 3rd and final podium athletes have concluded their last middle school race!

In the last event, the Boys' 4A 8th grade 4x400m Relay Team of 1st leg: Brayden Fleming, 2nd leg: Ethan Becker, 3rd leg: Tramon Fleming, and Anchor leg: Xavier Ebbole (Alternates: Willie Jackson and Gregory Norman) earned 6th place at the State Championships, smashing their previous school record with a time of 3:46.49!

Overall:

We competed in 5 events:

Zalia Polk in the Shot Put: 5th place (medalist)
Brayden Fleming in the 200m: 13th place
Xavier Ebbole in the 400m: 10th place
Xavier Ebbole in the Discus: 26th place
Boys' 8th grade in the 4x200m: 5th place (medalists)
Boys' 8th grade in the 4x400m: 6th place (medalists)

Team consists of 1st leg: Tramon Fleming, 2nd leg: Ethan Becker, 3rd leg: Xavier Ebbole, and Anchor leg: Brayden Fleming (Alternates: Tristan Kimbrough-McMillian and Gregory Norman) with a new school record of 1:37.64

Today we celebrated some amazing students for their dedication and commitment to being at school every day! 🎉 We recognized 7 students with attendance awards for their outstanding effort, and 3 students with PERFECT attendance for the entire school year rode away with brand new electronic scooters! 🛴👏
We are so proud of our students for showing up, working hard, and making education a priority every single day.

Our Student Ambassadors are leading the way! Last week, through student-led tours with RPS 205 administration, middle schoolers at Flinn, West, Eisenhower, Lincoln, RESA, and Marshall, built leadership, confidence, and community. This program is shaping tomorrow’s leaders today!
