The Rock Valley College Center for Learning in Retirement (CLR) invites community members to discover the joys of lifelong learning at its Fall Kick-Off & Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bengt Sjostrom (Starlight) Theatre on the Rock Valley College Main Campus.

The free event is open to the public and offers an opportunity to learn about CLR's extensive lineup of educational, cultural, and social opportunities for Fall 2026.

Discover Lifelong Learning at RVC's Center for Learning in Retirement Fall Kick-Off MyRVC provides quick access to the most commonly needed resources, including Self Service, Canvas/EAGLE, student email, password management, and more!

We're excited to announce the launch of our new Neurodivergent Programs.

These programs are designed to provide a more accommodating, supportive, and engaging learning environment where participants can build skills, confidence, and meaningful connections.

Our programs are open to individuals 18 years and older, with the exception of our Transitioning to High School and LEGO Program, which are designed for younger participants and will be held on the same day.

To help ensure a positive experience for everyone, participants should be able to:
• Manage their personal self-care independently.
• Follow classroom expectations and participate appropriately in a group setting.

Classes could be hobby, leisure, workforce development. They can be creative, fun, educational. We served children through seniors.
