We have introduced Yoga to our children at the center! Teaching them coping skills early in life!

This week at Ryan Jury Child Development Center, Miranda lead teachers and toddlers in an OM-azing Activity.
-
Children circled up and breathed in the word OM-azing! And took a breath out!
-
The kids were asked to share with their friends why they each think they are OM-azing!
-
" I am OM-azing because....."
-
Miranda heard responses ...Because :

" I share with my brother "
-
" I help my dad with supper"
-
" I listen to my teacher"
-
" I can run fast"
-
This activity helps kids build confidence , self-esteem , creates community , and instills self awareness.
-
These kids are truly AMAZING!

Some of our adorable kids!! Happy Valentine’s Day! 💗💜❤️

Well bless their little hearts! Students from our Ryan Jury Center helped us celebrate Valentine’s Day in special way by making cards for cardiac rehab patients. The preschoolers and toddlers did everything from painting cards to stamping their little footprints on construction paper hearts. It was a fun project to encourage our patients while teaching the children all about heart month.

“It’s a great way for the kids to say ‘We love you, and you’re doing a great job on your rehab,’” said Tanya Eikstadt, Supervisor of Cardiopulmonary Rehab. “It’s very important for our patients as they go through this process to know they have support, and this gives them a chance to look around them and feel encouraged.”

Way to go, kids! ❤️
