We all have goals for the summer, from making sure to relax and connect with God to having an amazing adventure or two. Our staff wanted to share their advice for students to create their best summer break!
Miss Laga says: We can celebrate our faith when we're on the road!
One of the cool things about being Catholic and part of the universal church is being able to find a church even on vacation. I got to go to the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Home and School board is ready for the new school year!
One of the fundamental aspects of All Saints is respect for the family and its role in shaping children's educational journey. Home and School is open to parents, guardians, and staff. It is a low pressure, super fun way to support students, build community, and fund raise.
HASA will host a cookout before the Blessing of the Backpacks on August 18th. Some of our awesome HASA parents will be at the Blessing of the Backpacks with more information on this year's plans, too.

From the teachers: Visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion in Champion, WI. It is especially significant because it is the first and only Church-approved Marian apparition site in the United States, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared to the Belgian immigrant Adele Brise in 1859.

Mrs. Hubner, Ms. Peters, and Mrs. Doyle got together for this one because it is that important 😊. They say: Faith doesn’t take the summer off so sign up for a religion class at your church or local parish, call your friends, and spend some time together learning about Jesus’ teachings by reading and discussing scripture verses found in the Bible.

Today kicks off the 2026 Festa! Enjoy tasty food and a beautiful celebration over at the Boylan Catholic grounds.
Make sure to keep an eye out for some familiar faces in the youth dance troupe, too!
**EDIT!! Unfortunately, due to the weather and in the interest of everyone’s safety, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s band Cherry Pie’s performance - Good news, they will be back next year!
We know how much everyone was looking forward to the music, and we’re just as disappointed. In place of the band for tonight we be having a dj staring at 7pm.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support of our festival. We hope you’ll join us for the rest of the festivities as weather permits. Stay safe, and thank you for being part of our amazing community!
Festa Italiana kicks off tonight, and we have a great evening of entertainment to start the weekend!
• 5:10–5:50 PM – Amici Italiani Adult Troupe
• 6:30–7:00 PM – Opening Ceremonies
• 7:00–11:00 PM – DJ
While you're exploring Festa, be sure to stop by the Cultural Tent, where GRIAA Hall of Fame genealogist Steve Salvato will be available throughout the evening to help you discover your Italian roots. www.festaitalianarockford.comfor more info.

“‘Why did you do all this for me?' Wilbur asked. 'I don't deserve it. I've never done anything for you.' 'You have been my friend,' replied Charlotte. 'That in itself is a tremendous thing.'"
We wanted to celebrate International Friendship Day with this beautiful reflection on friendship from one of Phil's favorite books, Charlotte's Web.
He is missing his school friends as summer stretches on but he knows school will be back in session soon!

Mrs. Hubner says: This summer, consider taking time to do something—big or small—to be a good steward of the Earth and help protect the environment for future generations. An environmental crisis is unfolding in our oceans. Sargassum, a type of brown seaweed, is blooming at unprecedented levels and washing up on beaches throughout the Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, and even parts of the Atlantic coastline. As these impacts continue to grow, it's important that we raise awareness and do our part to care for our planet.
