Fairbanks Morse is looking for a Mfg Engineer who has a CNC background – preferably hands on –experience. Need 3D solid modeling, programming CNC machines on offline software such as mastercam or esprit. do you know of anybody currently in the program or recently graduated? I have been looking for months with a recruiter and unfortunately been striking out. Greenlee Textron here in Rockford would like to hire another RVC student from our EET or MET program for their Technical Services Development Program. Students get paid $12.50 an hour, and Greenlee Textron also pays for a student’s tuition, fees, and books while the student is attending RVC. If interested in the position, please contact me.

Associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees to be offered on RVC campus

Aspiring engineers soon will be able to earn bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering in Rockford, thanks to a new partnership announced today by Rock Valley College (RVC) and Northern Illinois University (NIU).

Beginning in fall 2016, area students with associate's degrees in engineering science will be able to pursue one of three bachelor's degrees in engineering from the NIU College of Engineering & Engineering Technology on the RVC campus. Students who already have a bachelor's degree in engineering can earn a master's degree.
