Just a reminder to check your hive entrances to make sure they are open if you have had weather the last couple days. Snow and ice can build up and block your entrances preventing good ventilation and cleansing flights. Check the weight of your hives to make sure they still have honey. Remember, don't open your hives if it is under about 55 unless you have to...!

"Sneak Peak: It's finally here.

For a long time I've had the idea to create a community of new beekeepers who want to learn how to manage and grow their own apiary. Maybe just for fun, or to produce a bit of honey for family and friends or even to make it a side business!

True story.

Over the years, I have observed many 1st year and early beekeepers struggle with their hives in the beginning because they really didn't know what to do or carry out a hive inspection. Don’t get me wrong, I was there in the beginning as well.

This caused me to feel nervous about doing something wrong and wiping out my hives. Not a good feeling for a hobby that should be fun and exciting!

I was stuck thinking that I needed to watch more YouTube videos and read more books on beekeeping. I kept thinking that maybe I needed more gadgets, a different method. Nope, that wasn’t it at all.

Turns out all I needed was to get a mentor! I needed extra guidance in the beginning because in the beginning you need assurance that you are doing the right thing. You have a lot of questions!

I had an opportunity to work with one of the best in the business and am grateful for all that he has taught me!

And now it's finally time I share this with you guys.

So I'm launching a brand new community where we can rally together.

Inside I will show you everything you need to:

✅ Do to get set up with your 1st hive(s)
✅ Learn basic bee biology
✅ How to manage your hive

I've been secretly working on this for quite some time.

Today is our official grand opening.

My plan is to charge $47/month for access in the future.
