To help your student feel confident and ready before the first bell rings, we have set aside time to get everyone settled in. Be sure to save this info for our upcoming supply drop-offs, meet-and-greets, and parent orientations happening on Friday, August 28, and Monday, August 31.

Please join us in welcoming Devin Bitner to the Rockford Christian family as our new middle school Bible and PE teacher! Mr. Bitner brings a strong foundation in youth leadership and ministry, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Student Ministry and Biblical Theology from Saint Louis Christian College. Most recently, he has been serving our local community as the Sports and Recreation Director at the YMCA of Rock River Valley, and he previously served as a Youth Pastor at the Christian Church of Olney. In addition to his ministry experience, Devin brings coaching experience in basketball, baseball, soccer, and football.

When asked about joining our team, Mr. Bitner shared: “Working at RC is like a dream job for me. I’ve always felt called to work with middle and high schoolers, to cheer them on, and teach them about who Jesus is and what he’s done for us. I can’t wait to get to know the incredible students, families, and staff here at RC! Go Royal Lions!” Welcome to Rockford Christian, Mr. Bitner!!
