The first day of school is about 8 weeks away for the 26-27 school year. Here is our academic calendar as well as our start & dismissal times so that you can prepare and plan ahead.

This week we tried out a new tradition here at Welsh that is sure to stick around!

We present to you: A Showcase of Learning! Every class from every grade level planned, prepared and presented on a topic of their choosing! From Habitats and Dioramas to Shakespeare and Shark Tanks. We were blown away at the creativity and the out-of-this-world writing.

Welsh Parents: Tomorrow is the last day of school and is a shortened day. Welsh will end its day at 12:30 pm tomorrow, Friday 5/22. Again, The Welsh school day will end tomorrow at 12:30 pm. Have a great summer, Folks!

Field Day 2026 was one for the books! Laughter, teamwork, and so much happiness.

Everyone had a fantastic time at the annual Girls on the Run 5K! A wonderful turnout and a beautiful evening.

Our 2nd Graders headed out to Severson Dells Nature Center today to explore, hike and soak in the sunshine! What a perfect May way to learn 🌿🪲🌞
