I had a big helper last night! Theodore E. Bear (Teddy Bear) helped me put out a few apple themed books! 😉😘😻

A super smart, sneaky squirrel got in our house last night!!! 🐿 😬 🤭 We think our "guard cats (lol!!!)" were on patrol because there was no damage, but there WERE acorns in our first Fall sensory table! 🐈🌰🤔 Happy Fall, ya'll!!! 🍃🍂🍁

Sensory bin-

- Dried split peas, numbered acorns, squirrel, "number bangles," and some Fall table scatter were from the incrediblely big-hearted Chris Chapman

- Lovely 10-frame tray is from Yellow Door Education

- Wooden scoops, bowls, and large mango wood tray and funnel were from Amazon

-Assorted magnets and chip magnets were from Lakeshore Learning and Learning Resources

Ahhhhhh! Soup weather. 🍲 Sweater or jacket weather.🧥 Apple orchard visits.🍎🍏🍩 Finding the perfect pumpkin. 🎃 Collecting leaves. 🍁🍂🍃 We can't even begin to describe the level of excitement we're feeling over here regarding this cooler Fall weather!!! Little spots of Fall are popping up in the classroom too, with more being added over the coming weeks.

The sun has been in full force and everything is sparkling. Ellie even discovered rain water today and taught us how to make block print creatures. Our hearts are full!

We made homemade applesauce today, and the children said that pears, strawberries, and blueberries would be a delicious addition. Boy were they right! 🍎🍏🍐🍓🫐

Kalli Bruck, please apologize to your son that we ended up with such spectacularly sweet, juicy pears from your sweet, sweet mama! We heard he's a big fan!

I'd tag my Mom in this post, if she had "liked" my business page (thanks, Mom!!! 🤭), because she hit the jackpot at Woodman's - Rockford, IL today. She grabbed 3 $1 bags of produce and shared them with us! It was perfect timing because the Granny Smith and Autumn Glory apples were a heavenly addition to our Honeycrisp applesauce. Thanks, Pyszka 😄

Yep, my favorite is a Stegosaurus. I currently have 2 rubber bands ("OH NOOOOO!!! We accidentally littered yesterday when we had the geoboards outside! I found 2 rubberbands! Don't worry, Ms. Heather! We can just wash them inside and add them back to the box."), an acorn, and 2 small rocks in my pocket.
