Congratulations to the RMED Class of 2025! For the third consecutive year, RMED had a 100% match rate! Our students will be attending some of the top residency programs in the nation in several different specialties, including family medicine, surgery, psychiatry, emergency medicine, diagnostic radiology, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery and urology. Congrats to the RMED Class of 2025 on a very successful Match Day! RMEDers are in demand!

We were honored to be invited to speak at the 2025 Legislative Agriculture Chairs Summit in Des Moines, Iowa this past weekend! At the event, our Associate Director, Vicki Weidenbacher-Hoper, had the opportunity to highlight the impactful programs and successes of the National Center for Rural Health Professions. We also shared valuable insights and recommendations for strengthening the rural health workforce. Grateful for the chance to collaborate and contribute to this important conversation!

Congrats to M1 RMEDer, Hunter Eide on his appointment to the National Rural Health Association's Government Affairs Committee as a student representative! So great to have an RMEDer serving at the national level.
