A HUGE Congratulations to Bobby Behmer (RL class of 2021) for receiving the NCAA Elite 90 award for the 2nd year in a row.

The NCAA ELITE 90 award honors the exceptional achievements of student-athletes. This prestigious accolade is given to those who have not only excelled at a national championship level in their sport but have also achieved the highest academic standards among their peers. The Elite 90 is proudly awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s 90 championships.

On Sunday, Bobby and the North Central Football team take on Mount Union in the NCAA Division III football championship in Houston, TX. You can watch the game from home on ESPN. The game starts at 7:00 PM.

Congratulations Bobby! We’re so proud of you. Good luck to you and the North Central Cardinals!

Our choir has been quite busy spreading the Christmas spirit to the community.

The choir kids had so much fun singing for WTVO’s Sounds of the Holidays at The Coronado Theatre! We are always thankful to be included! Be on the lookout to hear them on television!

Tonight we celebrated 8th Grade Parent’s Night at our last home Junior High basketball game. The 8th Grade team finished undefeated in the regular season. They are back to back regular season Northern Conference Champions. They have a combined 7th and 8th grade record of 44-5. They are currently 20-1 this year. In two years, they have not lost a home game. Please help us congratulate the 8th grade basketball team. We’re so excited to watch you all continue to grow in the future!

TODAY IS THE DAY!! The Rockford Lutheran CPTO has been hard at work. Their Santa's Store opens today at 3pm! Stop by and visit from 3-6pm in the elementary gym. Drop off your baked treats for the cookie sale tomorrow during this time as well.
Tomorrow's sale will run from 9am - 12pm. They will have coffee, hot chocolate and donuts tomorrow morning! Cookies will be available, fill a container for $20! Cookies can also be dropped off from 8am - 9am tomorrow.

At Rockford Lutheran, service is one of our four core values, and this week, our talented High School Orchestra demonstrated just that. They visited Fairhaven Nursing Home to spread joy through uplifting music. Their performance not only entertained the residents but also embodied the spirit of compassion and humility we strive to reflect in all our acts of Christian Service.
