JHS English 12

Scores are in and I have to apologize to all of you. I failed you. I don't know what I missed or where the problem is yet, but something I did or didn't do must have caused the scores. I'm sorry folks - I know you tried. It was a grand experiment, but I failed you.

Tentative Agreement reached. Teachers vote tomorrow. Strike may be over!

Anyone who wants to join us is welcome. We will be picketing in the mornings and afternoons in front of JHS. The more people we have who aren't teachers, the shorter this thing will be, I hope.

I'm off at a conference this week. Everyone behave. Ms. Utech is in charge now. I'll be back and available before/after school for help next week.

Just a friendly reminder - those who I allowed to do the essays at home because of the snow storm ... you might want to get those emailed to me ASAP!

Finals begin today. Remember to bring paper and something to write with for the essay section; your brain would be a good idea too. Good luck, and may the Force be with you!

Good evening. I just wanted to say you all did a great job on day one of the poem recitations. Nobody died! :) The bar is set pretty high for the next couple days but I'm sure you are up to the challenge.

Also, don't forget - you have one poem in memory now. You only need one more if you'ld like to try to take on the actual competition. National grand prize is $20,000! There will be an informational/practice session tomorrow after school. Try to come by if you are interested.
