Congratulations to Harlem School District 122 for raising $2,495 for Golden Apple at tonight's Battle of the Districts at Rascals Bar & Grill ! You're in the lead! Thank you to all the educators who tended bar, gathered raffle items, sold tickets, etc., and to all who supported the event! We appreciate you!!

Lots going on at Golden Apple these days! educators will be guest bartending from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at .bar.and.grill in the third Battle of the Districts fundraiser. Our annual First Friday Wine Tasting fundraiser at is Sept. 4. Classroom grant applications are due Sept. 9. Apple for the Teacher Day and Hononegah Nation's bartender event will be in mid-September. Then before you know it, the deadline to nominate a Pre-K-5th grade teacher for the 2027 Golden Apple teacher award will be upon us! Join us from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6 at .bar.and.grill for the next Battle of the Districts: edition! There will be raffles, dunce caps, teacher's pet crowns, food and drinks and good times for all. Your bartenders will include: Marya Nelson, Mike Valentine, Shawna Sterling, Brock Morlan, Kasie Kosinski, Kurt Thompson, Aaron Johnson and Jacob Sarmiento! Proceeds stay local to support local teachers with recognition, scholarships and classroom grants.

Last Thursday, we had a great time raising money at Coach's Corner/ Iron Grate Food Truck ! We appreciate the Belvidere School District 100 staff and supporters who came out for the Battle of the Districts there! Next Thursday, we'll be with folks at .bar.and.grill from 4-7 p.m.! More raffles and fun!
