Happy Saturday everyone enjoy the weather and be save

Ok if the Governor calls a state of emergency and schools close .along with post office and trash service not working it is real nasty for any company to force it's employee's to risk their lives and vehicles for a little over min wage.
National selfie day!!!
I would just like to share my thoughts.
I have had the privilege of being both an employee as well as a parent at Trinity Day Care. I have seen as an employee the dedication, tenacity, and passion from the teachers here. It is if no surprise I hope to anyone that being a teacher (especially in day care) is often an under paid and under appreciated profession, but I see many teachers at Trinity motivated by helping children and their families not the money or recognition.
As a parent I have been treated with compassion and seen how teachers work hard to be a support system to me in many aspects of my life not just what directly relates to my child's class experiences.

To close I feel honored to have spent so much of the last 5 years of my life at Trinity Day Care!

Today Trinity Day Care School Age children did some community outreach. In Vacation Bible School this summer the children learned Jesus is the Light of the World. When we do kind and nice things for others his light shines through us. We are his hands and his feet.
We visited the Luther Center and the residents all seemed to enjoy our visit.
The children all sang beautifully and loud and danced with motions to the songs we had learned at VBS. Lots of smiles, laughter, happy tears, and even air hugs between the children and residents. We left the residents with beautiful art we had made this past week. "Shine Jesus light where ever you may go!!"

Trinity Day Care School Age children enjoyed the morning at The Nordlof Center.
Thank you to the Rockford Public Library for hosting The Native American Story time with Dan and Kathy. The children with the help of Dan and Kathy made the stories come to life on the stage of Nordlof. In one of the stories we learned red, yellow, black, and white we are all special and beautiful. They all participated and seemed to have fun.

Happy Independence day to all our families and friends. Have a fun and safe weekend. Take a look at our staff and children of Trinity and how we like to celebrate.

Day 5 brings an end to our 2023 Vacation Bible School. Today, we met Halley who reminded us that the light of Jesus always surrounds us. We're God's people, ready to power up and help others in need! Look for more pictures a little later of the children enjoying the week.
We want to thank all the volunteers at Trinity Lutheran Church that helped make this week happen. The children and teachers enjoyed every moment of the week. Till next year may we shine Jesus light everywhere we go and in everything we do. God bless you all.

Day 4 is coming to an end and Sol is getting ready to set. Yep!...Sol is the sun. Without Sol, life on earth would end! Sol brings us life, light and warmth! Remind you of anyone? Jesus brings us life, light and warmth also....and a whole lot more!

On Day 3, we met Luna. She doesn't shine on her own, but she does reflect the light of the sun and that can be very bright. Remember, we are to reflect the light of Jesus.

Sorry for posting day 2 late, but the kids are having a wonderful time.

First day of Vacation Bible School was a great success. The children all seemed to enjoy themselves today. We can't wait for day two.

Have a good and safe weekend.

The Bake Sale last week was a huge success. I want to thank all that helped and contributed to the sale. I also want to thank the family and friends of Trinity Day Care and church that attended the sale and purchased items. We were able to shower Charles with cards made by the children and the nice profit we collected. Charles was very appreciative and says thank you to all.
