Learning fire safety starts early! 🔥🚒

During Fire Prevention Week, our Open Arms children learned about staying safe and the important role firefighters play in protecting our community.

Families can keep the learning going at home by practicing these safety basics:
🧯 Stop, drop, and roll if clothing catches fire.
🚪 Get outside and stay outside during a fire.
🏡 Choose a safe meeting place and practice your escape plan.
🚒 Teach children that firefighters are helpers.

Thank you to the Rockford Fire Department in partnership with Leslie West, State Farm Agent, for visiting Open Arms and helping our little ones build lifelong safety skills! ❤️
