Teaming Up to Fight Childhood Cancer is a group that was created by two Rockdale moms whose children were battling cancer. Teaming Up raises money for childhood cancer research solely by selling shirts each year. To date, they have donated over $325,000 directly to research.

Join us on Friday, September 25 for our Gold Out Game vs. Troy. Fill the stands with gold and show your support!

Shirt sales will run from Tuesday, September 1- Monday, September 21.
Shirts are $10 and order forms can be turned in at any campus office.

✨️💙Celebrating Rockdale State Champions! 💙✨️

Join us at the 2026 Battle of the Bell on Friday, October 9th, as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1976 Football and 1977 Track State Championship teams, alongside the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Track State Championship team.

Recognition will take place prior to kickoff at approximately 7:15 PM. If you are a member of one of these teams and plan to attend, please email [email protected] to confirm your attendance.

Rockdale ISD proud to share our recent accountability ratings! Overall, our district has made significant progress, improving our score from a 73 to a 78.

We are especially proud of the growth across our individual campuses:
🌟 Rockdale High School (RHS): Jumped from a 'C' to a 'B' rating!
🌟 Rockdale Intermediate School (RIS): Jumped from a 'C' to a 'B' rating!
🌟 Rockdale Junior High (RJH): Improved to a 78, moving up from a 'D' to a 'C' rating!

This success reflects the daily dedication of our educators, the persistence of our students, and the incredible support of our RISD families. Thank you for partnering with us every step of the way! 💙🐅

For the 2026–2027 school year, we invite you to consider serving on one of our district committees:

⭐️District Education Council (DEC) and School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC): Parents, business leaders, and community members are encouraged to apply.
⭐️School Library Advisory Council (SLAC): Parents are needed to serve and provide valuable input.
⭐️Weekly Student Mentorships: Adults in our community are invited to serve as mentors, offering guidance and encouragement to our students.
