With the closing of Majik Fi****ms we wanted to let you know that we are going to do something different for the community. In the near future, we will be opening a new company focused on education, training, safety, and helping our neighbors.

The new company will be TEXAS SAFETY ACADEMY

With emphasis on teaching classes and helping folks get their licenses and certifications for things like:

Texas Parks and Wildlife Certifications:
--- Hunter's Education
--- Boater's Safety

Texas Department of Public Safety:
--- License to Carry
--- Private Security Guard Level 1 and 2
--- School Safety Officer, for school employees

Public Safety Seminars:
--- Active Shooter Response by non-law enforcement
--- Active Shooter - How to protect your place of worship

NRA Classes:
--- Refuse to be a Victim! (non-firearm related safety class)
--- Basic Handgun Safety & Handling

In addition to our focus on teaching, we will (for a short time) continue to provide fi****ms and suppressors to fundraising events and our loyal customers.

Howdy everyone!

I want to thank everyone who came out to buy up all the stuff in the store. We were able to clean out the store completely.

The only things we have left are a couple partial boxes of ammo, one small safe and some misc cables etc

The one big thing we do still have is a computer rack and several Dell servers and storage devices. If anyone needs this type of equipment, please reach out. If you know anyone please share our contact info.

We will move our FFL/SOT to Tony's home address for a while so folks can pick up any items we have in processing now. As for new orders, we will be stopping most of that activity over the next couple weeks, too.

If you have anything with us now, just give get in touch with Tony to make arrangements to finish paperwork and pick them up as they are approved.

LAST TWO DAYS Open at 10am both days and stay open till we are done packing or everything is gone!

Majik Fi****ms' last two days are today and tomorrow.

CLEARANCE SALE:

All ammunition, holsters and accessories are going to be 50% off starting tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17th.

There are also some furniture-type items available:

The display kiosks are free for the taking! There are two disassembled ones and two that are still together. COME GET EM!

There is one glass display case for sale. Asking $500 and is in mint condition.

Two large flat-top moving dollies with removal side rails for sale. Asking $150 each

Two different point of sale systems.

One is our old CLOVER setup. Works great for restaurants, but didn't do well for fi****ms sales. Has the drawer, display terminals and hand-held unit. Paid $3000 for it. Make an offer!

Second is the current ATF compatible, ORCHID system, with card reader, receipt printer, terminal, cash drawer etc. Still using at the store. Make an offer!

Most of the rest of it is spoken for, but there are odds and ends scattered around if you want to take a look and make an offer on it.

Need to get it all out by the 28th so any help you can give would be appreciated so we don't have to store it anywhere!

TIMELINE for Majik

We are making efforts to follow this timeline so folks know what is going on. If you have questions, please contact us at the store.

We will be open:

Tuesday - Feb 17 - 10am to 5pm
Thursday - Feb 19 - 10am to 5pm
Friday - Feb 20 - 10am to 5pm
Saturday - Feb 21 - 10am to 5pm

Tuesday - Feb 24 - 10am to 5pm
Thursday - Feb 26 - 10am to 5pm
Friday - Feb 27 - 10am to 5pm
Saturday - Feb 28 - 10am to 5pm

Tony will be at the store:

Saturday Feb 21 from 10am to 4pm
Friday Feb 27 from 10am to 5pm
Saturday Feb 28 from 10am to 5pm

Any layaway items must be paid for by Feb 24th or they will be cancelled and returned to inventory for sale.

Any suppressors or other transfers not completed by Feb 28 will be handled by appointment only and delivered at Tony's home address once approval comes from ATF.

No more special orders or transfers will be accepted after Saturday Feb 21st to preclude any delivery or transfer issues.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of Majik Fi****ms, Rockdale’s only gun store for the past three years. Since opening our doors in 2018 and moving to Rockdale in 2020, we’ve strived to serve our community by offering a wide range of services, from gun sales and safety classes to hunting and fishing licenses.
Despite our efforts to expand and grow, including a proposed shooting range, we’ve faced challenges in securing funding. Unfortunately, this has led to the difficult decision to close our storefront by the end of February 2026. We appreciate the support we’ve received and hope that our contributions to Rockdale have made a positive impact. We’ll continue to support local fundraising events' fi****ms needs, from home, and wish the community all the best.
For those with transactions in progress, we will ensure all outstanding FFL transfers and suppressor orders are completed before closing. Our commitment to customer service remains strong, even as we wind down operations. We value the trust our customers have placed in us and will see these transactions through to the end.
