A great day at Heritage Homestead yesterday. We had a tour of the hyponics greenhouse, the lookout point that overlooks the 200 acres of land that is farmed with horse and plow, and then we toured the gristmill where we learned where many interesting turns of phrase come from such as: rule of thumb, milling around, and keep your nose to the grindstone.

Found this guy munching away on the neighbor’s 5 leaf ivy (Virginia Creeper). I wish I could clone him.
