Hello Sage Families,

Wow, we are getting really close to the start of the school year. The school is almost ready and our Staff are excited to get students in the door.

With that in mind please watch your phones moving into tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday the 16th. As we shared before, once we conclude our enrollment meeting we will finalize class lists. When that has been completed our teachers will be calling those students that are in their classroom. When they call, it will likely come as a blocked number or unknown. Potentially, depending on your provider it could say School District Number One. I am sharing this with you so that you don't miss the phone call regarding who your students' teacher will be. I can't tell you an exact time, however, before the end of the day you will get a call with this information. Your student's teacher will only have a brief time to talk with you as they will have 20+ calls to make. Please be prepared to give them the bit of information that they ask for and then bring other questions and information to the open house. You will have more time to visit then.

Lastly, Please remember that starting this year we will no longer be serving breakfast and lunch free of charge. So what does this mean for you? You will need to make sure your student knows if you would like them to eat breakfast and/or lunch at school. It would be great to know this going into the first day as they will have the option for breakfast as soon as the bell rings. We certainly don't want our students to be hungry during the day and will do what we can to ensure they have what they need. However, if you don't want them charging breakfast or lunch please work with them to know this. Teachers will communicate with Parents and Guardians about these and other important school questions during your brief call and at open house.
