Oh my. What a summer! So much going on between raising three boys, work, moving, vehicle issues, meeting the needs of brides and their bridesmaids.
I loved getting to help each and every one of my customers this summer.
For those who have been understanding and patient this summer with everything going on thank you again so much. I really appreciate each and every one of you.
Happy summer everyone!

I had the absolute pleasure to help this bride with her dress earlier this summer. But I forgot to get a final picture for myself so I had to wait to get some photos from her wedding π
With this dress I added the lace up back in place of the zipper and I think it turned out perfect. Congratulations Mr. And Mrs. Riley! πππππ

I took this dress in on the sides a little bit and put a bust in on the back. Thank you for your support! I hope all my brides have an amazing wedding day!

I snagged the model photo from the website where this dress came from. But where the lace up side is, there was a zipper. A little snug in the chest area. So the fastest (didnβt have a lot of time to try and match fabric π
π
) and most convenient solution was to do a lace up side. Thank you for your support!

So I messed up with the after picture. I took the one being posted and then forgot to get one while this bride was in it π€¦ββοΈ Moving on. This bride came to me with a dress that had been her grandmotherβs. She wanted to wear it in her wedding, but it was just a little too small in the bust area. We tossed around quite a few ideas. But in the end, we decided to go with the simpler, safer option. Which was to put in a lace up back. I was able to move the zipper from the original back down to the waist and still use it. I kept the full length just in case she ever wanted to put it back to its original style. With the lace up back, I put a panel under in order to make it more modest. This dress suited her perfectly! I love, love, love getting to do projects like this. Where a someone brings me a dress or an article of clothing and wants to make a little change and it turns into something completely different looking. Thank you for letting me help with your special day!

This mother of the bride asked for a little help jazzing up her dress. She asked for the cape like scarf in the back to be tacked up a little on the sides of the arms. She also asked for a slit in the front under the ruffle. Lastly it needed to be take in a bit on the sides, but in the end she looked great and was happy with how everything turned out. Thank you for your support!

Itβs always hard to loose a loved one. No one can deny that. When a friend asked me if I could make pillows out of some shirts for her, I readily agreed. Anything I could do to help in her time of grief. I will have to say my heart broke for her when I delivered these. All I can do is pray for her and her family and continue to support her whenever possible. Iβm so so sorry for your loss, Iβm here for you whenever you need me π«ππ«
