Walnut Elementary recently recognized students for their hard work and positive character by presenting awards for Most Improved in Reading, Most Improved in Math, and Kindness. Awards were given in each classroom, with one boy and one girl recognized in each category. Congratulations to all of our award recipients for their achievements and for being outstanding examples of what it means to be a Walnut Squirrel! 🐿️🎉

Mrs. Comstock’s PE/Health classes raised money for the Health Moves Minds program. With the funds raised, Mrs. Comstock purchased new equipment, and Mr. Freeman built ball racks to help organize everything. New items include soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, rings, jump ropes, and chalk—giving all students more fun and active options to enjoy during recess.

Walnut Elementary kindergarteners celebrated the 100th day of school with a glow party and fun activities! Our little learners shined bright as they celebrated being 100 days smarter!

Through our Coin Wars fundraiser, the Walnut Squirrel family raised $278.14 to help support our local community.

Walnut will continue collecting money to support Rock Springs High School and Love Local Week!
We will still be collecting donations on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
