Getting to know Eleanor Ambler. Ms. Nora teaches, levels 5, 6/7, Repertoire & Adult Ballet.

I have two favorite parts of teaching students to dance. First, I love getting to witness their “aha” moments when they find a new way of engaging a muscle or applying a correction. Second, nothing is more fulfilling than being able to watch students’ artistry and sense of self develop alongside their technique!

My advice for student dancers is to breathe!

I have a tuxedo cat named Gibson.

My favorite vacation spot is wherever my family is.

Getting to know dance instructor Marcus Pei. Marcus will be teaching Modern, Level 6/7 and Adult Ballet.

What is your favorite combination to teach?
My favorite combination to teach is a waltz from the corner! It’s usually the first time you get to travel across the floor in ballet class, and it includes my favorite step, pirouettes!

What is your favorite ice cream?
Salted caramel from Whitey’s is my favorite!

What is your favorite movie?
It’s hard to pick a favorite movie, but if I had to it would probably be Center Stage. It’s overdramatized in some parts but one of the best dance movies in my opinion.
