In HM 3, we are learning about caterpillars and how they go through metamorphosis to transform into butterflies. The children each had a chance to guess what was inside the enclosure before we revealed what was inside. We also read a book all about the process of metamorphosis.

Last night we had our Picnic on the Playground at Horace Mann. We are so thankful for everyone that joined us and cannot wait for our next family event!

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the playground/outdoor space at Horace Mann. Sack "lunches" will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own food, as well.

Today the Learning Trees took advantage of the sunny weather and went to the playground. We climbed like spiders, slid down the slides, and ran around with friends! Happy Wednesday!

The students of Marshall 2 had a great first week playing and learning the classroom routine! We are very very excited for the rest of the year, and can’t wait to see how much they learn and grow!

🦩✨ HM3 Fabulous Flamingos had an AMAZING first week! ✨🦩
What a fun week of learning, exploring, and getting to know one another! 💕 Our Fabulous Flamingos have been busy learning all about our classroom and what makes our school community so special.

This week we:
🌸 Learned our classroom rules and routines
🧸 Practiced how to take care of our centers and all of our new toys
👋 Learned our friends’ and teachers’ names
⛈️ Practiced what to do if severe weather happens
🏃‍♀️ Got some wiggles out on the playground
🏀 Had lots of fun playing and exploring in the gym

We are so proud of how well our little flamingos are learning, growing, and becoming part of our classroom family! 🦩💗 We can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings!

Earl Hanson 2 had a fabulous first week of school. Learning our friends names, the routine, and dancing inside to rid the outside of the rain! Today, we got to paint! All our friends said painting has been their favorite thing!
