At P&J Tender Care we are a company run by a family, working together with our staff as a family to serve families.

As a privately-owned Day Care center with 2 locations, we are able to provide quality care for children with an at-home feel. We are looking to add qualified, experienced lead teachers to our team. We are most interested in candidates who are looking for a work environment in which they can make a difference in the lives of kids and feel known and appreciated by the people with whom they work. At P&J, you aren't just part of the workforce, you're a part of the family.

Lead Teachers will be Teacher Qualified as mandated by the State of Illinois. Education MAY include a CDA, Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education OR a combination of experience and Early Childhood Education classes. Assistant Teachers are preferred to have at least one year experience in Early Childhood, but all work experiences will be considered. Candidates with a Gateways Credential or those with a Paraprofessional Endorsement from the Board of Education are preferred. Compensation will be based on education and experience.
