This is our one year old African Pixie Bull Frog. Rana is a species that is considered to be the second largest species of Bull Frog. They are native to the African Savannah.
She has quite the appetite! She can swallow a full grown mouse! Frogs and Toads are carnivorous. Any bird, mammal, reptile, amphibian, or insect that comes within their path is fair game if they can catch and swallow it!
In the wild young venomous cobras can be caught and eaten due to their three sharp bony proportions that they use to crush prey.

One of our smallest mammals is one of the most requested at our programs. It's not a flying squirrel or a baby sugar glider. It' s an African pygmy dormouse. We have a small colony of seven dormice.
