Mingo School of Kali

Mingo School of Kali I teach the Filipino Martial Art of Kali. Specifically, the Villabrille-Largusa system. The Villabrille-Largusa system of Kali is a beautiful, yet deadly art.

The Villabrille-Largusa System was founded by Great Grandmaster Floro Villabrille who fought approximately 40 death matches in his life. He was truly an exceptional martial artist. Grandmaster Ben Largusa trained under him and systematized his art to give us the complete system that we teach today. This is a bladed art, and although we train with sticks, which are deadly themselves, the stick is a

training tool for the blade. The weapons techniques also have very effective empty hand applications which should not be underestimated.
