📚 Grading Discussion – Wednesday at 5:30 PM
Interested in learning more about the grading changes in Rock Hill Schools? Join us tomorrow evening from 5:30–6:00 PM for a grading discussion. We will meet in the Media Center, or you can join us virtually using the Teams link in the E-News Family Newsletter.

🏫 Middle School Open House – Thursday, August 13
Don't forget that Middle School Open House is Thursday! We will begin in the auditorium from 5:30–6:00 PM. Afterward, families are invited to tour the school and meet their child's teachers.

🎉 Welcome to Rawlinson Road! 🎉

We are excited to introduce our newest Junior Faculty members joining the Rawlinson Road family! Through this Winthrop University partnership, they will work alongside our teachers as co-teachers in the classroom, providing additional support and learning opportunities for our students while completing their final year in the education program.

We are thrilled to be part of their journey as future educators and cannot wait to see the positive impact they will make with our students, staff, and school community. Welcome to Raider Nation!

As we head into summer, we want to celebrate the growth your child has made this school year. We are proud of their progress and remain committed to helping students maintain that momentum.
One challenge we consistently see is the “summer slide,” where students can lose some of the academic progress made during the school year due to a break in learning routines. To help minimize this and keep skills sharp, we are inviting families to partner with us in supporting continued math learning over the summer.

We are encouraging students to complete about 30 minutes of Zearn, 3–4 days per week over the summer. We recognize that summer schedules vary, and even 15–20 minutes of consistent, focused practice can make a meaningful difference in helping students maintain their learning. This is not required but strongly encouraged to support ongoing learning and a strong start in the fall.

We appreciate your continued partnership in helping every student grow. Please check out the flyer for additional details. Together, we can support student success and a strong start to the school year.

Due to the many exciting events and activities happening during the last few days of school, the RRMS Leadership Day originally scheduled for tomorrow is postponed to a later date.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to celebrate all of the wonderful things taking place at Rawlinson Road. It has been an incredible year filled with growth, achievement, and memorable moments for our students and staff.

We are grateful for our amazing Raider families and look forward to seeing you at Leadership Day in the near future!

Graduating seniors are invited to attend the Grad Walk at the middle school they once attended for one final visit and a parade in their honor. Please wear your cap and gown. You will also need to bring your ID to sign in at the front office.
