It is with a sad and heavy heart that I must let everyone know we lost Lt Michael Peach yesterday. He was a great friend to both DeWayne and I. His passing will leave a huge hole in the world. He had an unbelievable knowledge of fi****ms that always amazed me. He could drive you crazy sometimes with his joking but if you were with him you were going to laugh.

The world is alot dimmer today! I hope he and DeWayne are together again.

I have known and trained with John and Vicki for over 20 years. In 2019, I was honored to become a Staff Instructor for DTI as well. These two classes are extremely popular and well thought out.

John Farnam is one of the top handgun instructors in the world. He has personally trained thousands of federal, state and local law enforcement personnel, as well as non-police, in the serious use of fi****ms. In addition, he has authored four books on the subject — “The Farnam Method of Defensive Handgunning,” “The Farnam Method of Defensive Shotgun and Rifle Shooting,” “The Street Smart Gun Book,” and “Guns & Warriors – DTI Quips Volume 1.”

Vicki L Farnam, teaching with her husband, John, has developed a powerful program for helping male instructors to be effective with teaching female students. This controversial subject has brought Vicki into contact with many federal enforcement agencies as well as others on state and local levels. Her success has been phenomenal, and she is changing the thinking of the training industry worldwide. Her books, “Teaching Women to Shoot: A Law Enforcement Instructor’s Guide”, and “Women Learning to Shoot: A Guide for Law Enforcement Officers”, are widely regarded as authoritative texts on the subject.

PSA - If anyone ever recommends that you get an H-Wave device - DON'T! It cost $4200.00 dollars and most insurance companies will not pay for it. So I am now stuck footing the bill for a device that I will never use again and can only sell on Ebay for 300.00 to 500.00 dollars so you will never get your money back! H-Wave sales will tell whatever they want to get you to sign the paperwork and then you are stuck! DO NOT DEAL WITH H-WAVE!

Here is a puzzling case out of Fayette County where investigators say thieves broke the window of a man’s pickup truck while at the gas pumps. We’ve heard of cases of thieves opening unlocked doors and sliding into the car. But this time they actually broke the glass to get inside.
