World Camp

World Camp World Dance and Music Camp Our dance teachers this year will be Michael Ginsburg, Joe Graziosi, Yannis Konstantinou, Steve Kotansky and Ahmet Lüleci.

Join us September 25 - 28, 2014 (Thursday through Sunday) and enjoy a unique opportunity to learn dances and music from Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Albania and Turkey. We will dance to the music of Edessa of SF Bay Area, Zlatne Uste (Balkan & Beyond) of NYC, also from the New York area, Merita Halili / Raif Hyseni (Albanian), and Christos Tiktapanidis (Pontos). There will be live music for all

three evening parties which makes this camp especially enjoyable for beginners and experts alike. Singers and musicians will also have the opportunity to learn new techniques and material from our outstanding musicians. LOCATION: Iroquois Springs Camp, located just 90 miles from New York City, in Rock Hill, NY in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. The site has a lovely relaxed, open country setting with huge dance floors, plenty of workshop spaces. Bunkhouse-style cabins with electricity and bathrooms are near the dance and dining halls. Great spot for a dance weekend!
