The affected seats should not be returned to retailers or the company. Consumers must register their child seat online or call (company’s) customer service line to receive a remedy kit.

We have all heard the "I am only going down the road, it will be ok" when someone questions buckling their child or not. But did you know that most accidents occur in close proximity to home or work. Don't take that chance with yours and your child's safety. Buckle every ride, every time.

Many parents ask us about this and why it matters. Well, how does your adult seatbelt feel and work when you buckle up in your big bulky cold weather coat. The same is true for the kids. The straps remain loose, and under the extreme forces of a crash, the puffy jacket can compress causing a situation where a child can be harmed. Take the jacket off before buckling. Have the child wear the jacket like a blanket outside the straps when traveling. Its all about safety. If your not sure, give us a call.

⚠️ PSA: Winter Coats and Car Seats Don't Mix! ⚠️ Bulky jackets and snowsuits compress in a crash, leaving too much space between your child and the harness. The fix? First, buckle the harness snugly without the coat. Keep your child warm by covering them with a coat or a blanket over the buckled and tightened straps.

Today a caregiver reached out after receiving a ticket for improper installation. This caregiver was activated to help take care of a two year old and did the best they could. They found our partners at Rock Hill South Carolina Police Department and got the help they needed. As you see from the photo, the harness straps were attached to the tether strap. Luckily we were able to help them correct the issue and provide education so they can do it right next time. If you or someone you know needs car seat help, reach out to a certified technician.
