We were privileged to have Mr. Tucker and Mr. Morran with us from the Federal Aviation Administration to speak to Mr. Massey's Drone Technology students! The session was very informative and gave our students an opportunity to learn from industry notable names the various regulations on Air Space traffic. ✈️🛬

Meet Benjamin “Ben” and Alessandro “Alex”, two students who took their career interests beyond the classroom through Work-Based Learning at New-Indy Containerboard! 🏭

🔹 Ben was an Architecture & Construction pathway completer with aspirations of pursuing a career in engineering.

🔹 Alex was a Project Lead The Way completer who also hopes to pursue engineering as a career.

Through their internship experience, both students had the opportunity to see how the skills they developed in high school connect to real-world careers and workplace expectations.

Different pathways. Shared passion. Real-world experience. Future engineers. 👷🏽‍♂️⚙️

Monday Momentum! 🚀🏎️
Today we begin our first installment of Monday Momentum, where we highlight the learning, engagement and success of our various pathways here at ATC.

Our first pathway/class that we are highlighting is our Drafting and Mechanical Engineering class taught by Mrs. Harrelson. ⚙️📐. The students have begun the GIS Mapping unit. In this unit, they will use satellite imagery and measured known points to create and digitize a base map of the ATC and the surrounding area.

The work that these students are doing now will become a part of our future! Good job and keep going! 🚀✨
