🏃‍♀️🖤💛Hornet Hustle Fun Run! 💛🖤🏃‍♂️

Today we wrapped up our fundraiser with our Hornet Hustle Fun Run, and what a great way to celebrate an AMAZING fundraiser! 🎉🐝

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, shared, supported, and helped our Hornets raise money for our school. Your generosity will make a huge difference in supporting our students and staff and helping make great things possible at Lesslie! 🖤💛

A special thank-you to Dr. Slagle for being our announcer and helping keep the fun run exciting, and to Mr. Sanders for DJing and providing the music that kept everyone moving! 🎤🎶 We are also incredibly grateful to everyone else who helped organize, set up, support, and make this event such a success. We could not have done it without you!

Our top fundraisers also earned the exciting opportunity to pie Officer Spencer in the face! 🥧👮‍♂️ What a fun way to celebrate their hard work and dedication!

We are so grateful for our incredible Lesslie families and community! 🐝💛🖤🐝

We’re stepping into break in style! 👟🧦😂

We wrapped up our Underground Spirit Week and our last day before break with Funky Footwear Friday! From crazy socks to funky shoes, it was the perfect way to end a fun week at Lesslie! 💚💛

Now it’s time to kick off those shoes and enjoy a well-deserved break! 😉🍂

🎯❤️ Underground Spirit Week continues!

Today’s theme: Dress Like a Target Employee Day 😂

Why? We’re not really sure. 🤷‍♀️ But sometimes you just need an excuse to wear red and khaki and have a little fun at school!

Our staff understood the assignment! 🎯❤️

👀 I spy a pretty great principal in that back row! 💙💎 We’re so thankful to have Dr. Slagle leading Lesslie this year. Happy Principal Month! 🎉👏

🎉 Happy Principal Month! 🎉

We’re kicking off a month-long celebration of the incredible leaders who make a difference every day across Rock Hill Schools!

We’re starting with a fun group photo featuring some of our amazing principals - because leadership is always better together! 👏💎

Throughout the month, we’ll be featuring our principals alphabetically by school, along with some of the incredible people who lead programs that support our students every day.

These leaders are helping us RAISE THE BAR - inspiring our students to SHINE BRIGHT, supporting our staff and helping make Rock Hill Schools a place where every student has the opportunity to shine, grow and thrive. 💎✨

Join us all month long as we celebrate, recognize and honor the leaders who show up for our students, staff and families every day. ❤️

Happy Principal Month! 🥳👏

Prize Patrol is on the move again today! A huge thank you to Mrs. Gozur for putting them together this morning. We’ve submitted another prize order, including another batch of many of our bigger prizes. As soon as they arrive, we’ll get them delivered!

We also wanted to let you know that we are CRUSHING our stretch stretch goals this week! Since Monday, we have earned a hallway dance party, made Dr. Slagle buy hair dye for Friday, and unlocked an extra 30 minutes of recess. We are only $105 away from scheduling a picnic lunch outside. Thank you for helping us unlock these extra prizes as we keep moving and grooving towards our Hornet Hustle on Friday!

✨ GLOWING with excitement! ✨

One of the prizes our students earned during our Fun Run fundraiser was a Glow-in-the-Dark Lunch Party—and it was definitely a hit! 🌟🪩💚

The lights went down, the glow sticks came out, and lunchtime turned into a party! Our students had the BEST time celebrating all of their hard work during the Fun Run! 🎉✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has helped make our fundraiser such a success so far! 💛🐝 We’re not finished yet—there are still a few days left to donate and help support our Lesslie Hornets! Every donation makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the incredible support from our Lesslie families and community!

🤫🚨 UNDERGROUND SPIRIT WEEK: DAY 2 🚨🤫
Today’s theme: TEACHER PAJAMA DAY! 😴🛏️💤

Our students came to school ready to learn…
Our teachers came to school ready to go back to bed. Pajama pants, slippers, cozy sets, and “I definitely just rolled out of bed” energy filled the halls of Lesslie today! 🤣
The best part? The students still have NO IDEA what we’re doing. 👀🤫
Just another completely normal day at Lesslie Elementary… nothing suspicious happening here. 😏
Stay tuned to see what our teachers pull off next! 👀🐝💙

Our PTO was hard at work last year! We tried to capture and categorize all of the ways they stepped up and supported the Lesslie community. Many of these things could not have happened without their coordination and your donations! Want to keep some of these things going this year? Click the link below to donate!
