Faithful Beginnings Welcome to Faithful Beginnings! Where the love of Christ meets the joy of learning.

The Preschool at Mount Holly UMC aims to provide a safe, plentiful learning environment while promoting the success of the whole child (spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically) through a partnership between preschool staff members, parents, and Mount Holly United Methodist Church. Children will learn through developmentally appropriate play and interactions that nurture and grow a rel

ationship with Christ. Teachers and staff are highly qualified, trained, and dedicated to the success of each individual. The Preschool stimulates children through their natural way of learning: play and social interaction. Students will feel safe to explore new things and confirm prior knowledge through play with other children. Academics will progress in a developmentally appropriate manner both in accordance with age and individual student needs. Spiritual growth will follow the Christian calendar including prayer, scripture, child-friendly Bible stories, and holiday celebrations. Units of study will parallel faith and academic goals while nurturing a fluid relationship between child’s interest and teacher guidance. This complementary strategy will ensure that children reach all levels of understanding (Bloom’s Taxonomy).

Meet Mrs. Nita 🤍

We are so blessed to have Mrs. Nita as part of the Faithful Beginnings family! This is her third year with us, and her heart for early childhood education is truly something special. She will be our K4 lead teacher!

Mrs. Nita has been working in education since 2001, pouring into generations of children with love, patience, and a heart for ministry. She planned to retire after last school year, but God had other plans! She quickly realized she wasn’t quite finished ministering to young children through the gift of early childhood education. 💚

When she isn’t loving on our little learners, Mrs. Nita enjoys spending time with her grandkids, visiting the beach, and collecting vintage treasures. She especially loves her slow mornings with a hot cup of coffee and time spent in her devotions. ☕️📖🌊

We are so thankful that Mrs. Nita said “not yet” to retirement and “yes” to another year of loving, teaching, and planting little seeds of faith in the hearts of our children.

We love you, Mrs. Nita, and we are so grateful you’re here! ✨

As we prepare to welcome our sweet students back for another year at Faithful Beginnings, I just want to take a moment to say thank you to our incredible community village. 💚

The generosity and kindness you have shown through your donations to help prepare our classrooms has truly touched my heart. Every item donated, every helping hand, and every person who has supported our preschool has helped create a warm, welcoming place for our children to learn, grow, and feel loved.

As the director, one of my greatest joys is watching this little school come together — not just because of what happens inside our classrooms, but because of the people who surround us and believe in what we are building here.

It truly takes a village, and we are so blessed to have one.

Thank you for helping us prepare a place where little hearts can grow, little minds can learn, and most importantly, where children can experience the love of Christ each day. We are praying over these classrooms, our teachers, and every precious child who will walk through our doors this year.

Mrs. Jackie! 🌼

We are so excited to have Mrs. Jackie as part of the Faithful Beginnings family! This year, Mrs. Jackie will be serving as our K4 Assistant Teacher, and we are blessed to have her experience, wisdom, and heart for children in our classroom.

Mrs. Jackie has a lifelong passion for children’s ministry. She has been involved in Children’s Church programs and youth ministry since her own children were young, and even today she continues to serve by leading Sunday School. Her love for guiding children in their faith and helping them grow is such a gift to our school family.

While Mrs. Jackie loves children of all ages, she has a special place in her heart for four- and five-year-olds. She loves how eager they are to learn, discover how things work, and celebrate their accomplishments. She believes in encouraging children, building their confidence, and reminding them how special they are.

When she’s not at school, Mrs. Jackie enjoys playing bridge, walking, spending time with her grandson, and relaxing at the beach. 🌊

Mrs. Jackie’s heart is to serve the Lord by making a difference in the lives of children, and we are so thankful she is part of Faithful Beginnings. We can’t wait to see the love, encouragement, and joy she brings to our K4 classroom this year! 💛

Mrs. Nikki! 💚

We are so excited to introduce Mrs. Nikki, one of our K3 teachers! 🥰

Mrs. Nikki has been working in childcare for the past two years and says she loves it more and more every day! She has a heart for children and is excited to be part of their preschool journey as they learn, grow, and discover new things together. 🍎📚

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Nikki is married and a proud fur mama. She and her family love spending their free time at the beach and traveling whenever they get the chance! 🌊☀️ She is also currently attending college to earn her degree in Biblical Studies. ✝️

When she’s not teaching or studying, you can probably find her shopping or enjoying all things cow print and western! 🤠🐄

Ms. Madeline! 🌱

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Madeline to the Faithful Beginnings family! She brings 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, with a special focus on working with infants and toddler-aged children. Her passion for early learning shines through in the way she loves watching children reach each milestone and being part of their unique journey.

This year, Ms. Madeline will be serving as our Toddler & K2 Assistant Teacher! She is excited to support our youngest learners as they explore, grow, and build the foundational skills that make their first preschool experiences so special.

Ms. Madeline is a mom to two elementary-aged boys and also has a 90-pound furry friend waiting for her at home! 🐾 When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys reading and gardening.

Mrs. Claire 🌸

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Claire to the Faithful Beginnings family! Claire has a heart for teaching young children and began her preschool journey teaching at Next Generations before attending college. She brings valuable experience and a love for helping little ones learn, grow, and discover the world around them.

This year, Claire will be our Lead Teacher for our Toddler and K2 classes! She is excited to help our youngest learners build confidence, explore through play, and develop the foundational skills they need as they begin their preschool journey.

Claire is married and is a proud mom to her three-year-old daughter, Taytum. She attends Charlotte Ave Church of Christ, where she shares her love for children by teaching preschool on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

When she’s not in the classroom, Claire enjoys making magical memories at Disney, spending time with her family, and getting lost in a good book. 📚✨

🍎 Is your child ready for K4? We still have a few spots available in our K4 class, and we’d love to welcome your family to Faithful Beginnings Preschool!

Our half-day K4 program is intentionally designed to give children the best of both worlds. They receive a strong academic foundation while still having plenty of time to simply be kids.

Mrs. Lee Ann ❤️

We are so excited to have Mrs. Lee Ann as part of the Faithful Beginnings family! This will be her 5th year working in preschool, and we are blessed to have her experience, patience, and love for children in our classrooms.

Mrs. Lee Ann has previously taught our Toddler and K2 classes, and this year she is excited to step into our K3 classroom! She brings a wonderful understanding of early childhood development and a heart for helping little ones learn, grow, and build confidence.

When she’s not at school, Mrs. Lee Ann enjoys trying new recipes, cheering on softball games, shopping, spending time at the beach, and enjoying the outdoors. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite place to shop is Hobby Lobby! 💙
