We were so pleased to be invited to guest host at the Legato Memory Café at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Hall. 🎨💙

We had a wonderful turnout for our "Wildflowers in Bloom" art activity. Participants came from as far as Grosse Pointe to join us. Everyone had a lovely time and took home their masterpieces.

We are grateful for this opportunity and hope to return in 2027.

We are honored to be featured in Uniquely You Detroit Metro! 📖 The magazine's latest issue includes a beautiful article about Paint a Miracle, our mission, and the artists who make this community so special. Uniquely You is a free monthly magazine celebrating Detroit's disabilities community and connecting individuals and families with local resources.

The piece highlights our commitment to encouraging creativity and promoting dignity for individuals with disabilities. It covers our studio programs, exhibitions, artist sales, and the partnerships that help us reach nearly 500 artists each year. A new exhibit now on display at the Rochester Hills Public Library includes some of our artists! 🎨

The Exhibit, "Nature's Impressions: The Stylized Landscape," invites viewers to step outside traditional realism and enter a world of interpreted environments. Featuring a collection of paintings that reshape the natural world, this exhibit highlights the harmony between organic subject matter and deliberate artistic design.

Through vivid color fields, altered perspectives, and rhythmic patterns, each piece offers a distinct, emotional impression of the Earth's vistas. Featured Paint a Miracle artists include Ian Sibert, Joe Bargiel, Court Cyrkiel, Shannon Vermeulen, and Anton Fiscelli.

Location: Rochester Hills Public Library, second floor
Duration: Now on display for the next 6 months

Paint a Miracle artists are on display in Lansing! 🎨

Several of our artists were selected for the annual Breaking Barriers Art Exhibit, a juried competition and gallery showcasing the work of Michigan artists with developmental disabilities. Their work is featured in a physical summer exhibition at the Lansing Shuffle in downtown Lansing.

This exhibit directly challenges social stigmas and provides high-visibility platforms for artists who face systemic barriers in the traditional art world. We are proud of every Paint a Miracle artist whose work was chosen.

Exhibit Details:
WHERE: Lansing Shuffle, 325 Riverfront Dr., Lansing
WHEN: Through Labor Day

Address

400 Water Street, Ste LL4
Rochester, MI
