Twenty-two MAC students successfully completed a New York State Defensive Driving course, making them eligible for an estimated 10% reduction in their auto insurance premiums. Based on an average monthly insurance premium of $300, participants are expected to save approximately $360 per student each year. Because the insurance discount remains in effect for three years (as long as they remain eligible under New York’s Defensive Driving Program), each participant is expected to save approximately $1,080 over three years. Collectively, the 22 participants are projected to save an estimated $23,760 over the three-year period. In addition to the financial benefit, the course reinforced safe driving practices, increased road safety awareness, and equipped participants with skills that can help reduce the risk of crashes and traffic violations.

Our MAC students visited the Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventure Park for the very first time! They climbed through the trees, balanced on suspended obstacles, and encouraged one another every step of the way. It was an unforgettable experience that built confidence, teamwork, resilience, and the courage to step outside their comfort zones.

We are so proud of our students for embracing this challenge, supporting one another, and reaching new heights! 💙🌳

🌟 MAC Leadership in Action at COABE 2026 🌟

Proud moment for our MAC Program!

Three of our mentors — Maryam, Oleksandra, and Bilal — were selected to represent New York State at the COABE Students as Leaders Summit in Indianapolis, joining 2,000+ attendees nationwide.

Their first national conference helped them grow in leadership, communication, and career skills — and now they’re bringing it back to MAC by leading a Youth Leadership Training Program 🙌
